Governor Newsom announces new immediate actions to curb COVID-19 transmission. These new regulations, effective Nov 17, 2929 move several Southern California counties to the most restricted purple tier in the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.


Did you receive a PPP loan and are ready to apply for forgiveness?

  1. Contact your lending institution.  Loan forgiveness applications are processed through your lender. In addition to the SBA application, your lender may require additional documentation.
  1. Fill Out the SBA Loan Forgiveness Application (pdf). English Version / Spanish Version.
The SBA released a PPP EZ Loan Forgiveness Application (pdf). You can use the EZ application if you meet the following criteria:
  • You are self employed and have no employees;
  • You did not reduce the salaries or wages of your employees by more than 25% and did not reduce the number of hours for your employees; or
  • You experienced a reduction in business activity as a result of health directives related to COVID-19 and did not reduce the salaries or wages of your employees by more than 25%.

California has a blueprint for reducing COVID-19 in the state with revised criteria for loosening and tightening restriction activities. Check the Blueprint  for a Safer Economy page to find  the status of activities in your county.  You can search by county and activity.
